Safeguarding council tenants and leaseholders policy
Preventing abuse and neglect of children and vulnerable adults living in council housing stock.
This policy sets out the council’s statutory duties, responsibilities, and roles in relation to safeguarding. In all cases where we suspect that a child or vulnerable adult in the council’s housing stock needs safeguarding, we refer to the safeguarding policy and its associated policies and procedures.
