Liam Carroll (LAB) and Mark Grosskopf (LAB) were elected as ward Cllrs for White Hart Lane and South Tottenham respectively following the two by-election results at Alexandra House in Wood Green on Thursday (5 October 2023).
Cllr Carroll received 58.6% (1,081) of the 1,843 votes cast in White Hart Lane, whereas Cllr Grosskopf got 67.7% (1,268) support – more than two-thirds of the 1,872 votes cast overall – in South Tottenham.
Cllr Carroll joins Cllr Ahmed Mahbub and Cllr Anne Stennett in representing the easterly ward here in Haringey, while Cllr Makbule Gunes and Cllr Sheila Peacock will be Cllr Grosskopf’s co-ward Cllrs over in South Tottenham.
