Business qualification for visitor permits

You must fill in a business qualification if you want to buy business visitor permits and do not already have a business CPZ parking permit.

Cost

A business qualification is free. 

What you need

You must upload or post proof of your business address. This can be a piece of current printed business stationery showing the trading address and VAT registration number or company registration number.

Apply 

1. Log in to your online parking account or set up a new parking account.
   • if you already have an account with a different customer type, you must set up a new account for your business permit
   • continue to point 2 if you are setting up a new account
2. Select ‘Your permits’ and ‘See permits you can apply for (not visitor permits)’.
3. Click ‘Apply’ for ‘Business qualification for visitor permits’.
4. Agree to the terms and conditions.
5. Enter the date you want the qualification to start.
6. Upload your documents or tick the ‘Send in post’ box.

After applying, we’ll send you an email letting you know we’re processing your application.

Once approved, you can buy business visitor permits.

Renew your qualification

Your qualification lasts for 1 year. You’ll get an email 5 weeks before your qualification ends asking you to renew it.   

To renew your qualification: 

1. Log in to your parking account.
2. Under ‘Your permits’ click ‘View your permits’.
3. Click ‘Renew’ for ‘Business qualification for visitor permits’.
4. Confirm your details.
5. Leave the renewal start date as it is. Your new permit will start when your current permit ends.
6. Upload your proof documents.
