If you are finding it difficult to park close to a community centre or a local business, or you know of a location that would benefit from a general use disabled bay, you can submit a request for a new general use disabled bay.

Download, print and complete the relevant application form:
Post the completed forms back to us at Concessionary Travel.
If we accept your application, we’ll send your Blue Badge to you by signed-for post.
We may need more information about your health or disability and could ask you to get this from a certified expert assessor.
We’ll let you know if your application is successful within 30 working days of receiving your application form and supporting documents.
If your application is unsuccessful, we’ll let you know why and tell you how to appeal.
If we approve your application you must pay £10 to get your Blue Badge.
If we have your email address, we’ll email you with details of how to make an online payment with a debit or credit card.
If we do not have your email address, we’ll write to you asking for payment by cheque.
Please note, you'll get a confirmation email when we order your Badge, not when we receive payment. We order Badges 28 days before your Blue Badge start date.
We'll email or send you a letter 12 weeks before your Blue Badge ends with details of how to renew your permit.
The Department for Transport will email you a reminder to renew your Blue Badge 12 weeks before it ends. You will not get a reminder if you did not give an email address when you applied.
