What you need to apply
We need to see proof of your address, Haringey workplace and vehicle.
Proof of address
You must upload or post one of these proofs of your address:
- signed Assured Shorthold Tenancy agreement
- letter from HM revenue signed and recently dated
- letter from the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) signed and recently dated
- signed Housing Association or Council Tenancy Agreement
- driving licence photo identity card showing your address
- letter of completion from your solicitor confirming your address is where you live
Proof of workplace address
You must upload or post a document such as a letter from your employer, showing your place of work within Haringey.
Proof of vehicle registration
You must upload or post one of these proofs that the vehicle is registered in the applicant's name to your address:
- vehicle log book (V5C)
- new keeper’s slip (V5C/2) plus a bill of sale on headed company paper
- confirmation of your vehicle registration details plus a bill of sale on headed company paper
- lease agreement
- company car arrangement on headed letter paper
- motability agreement
You also need your Blue Badge number or must upload a copy of both sides of your Blue Badge.
Apply
- Log in to your online parking account or set up a new parking account. If setting up a new account, select ‘Resident’ as your ‘Customer Type’. If you already have an account with a different customer type, you must set up a new account for your non-resident Blue Badge holder permit.
- Select ‘Your permits’ and ‘See permits you can apply for (not visitor permits)’.
- Click ‘Apply’ for ‘Non-Resident Blue Badge holder’.
- Agree to the terms and conditions.
- Enter your vehicle registration, click ‘Find vehicle’, then click ‘Add vehicle’.
- Enter the date you want the permit to start.
- Upload your documents or tick the ‘Send in post’ box.
- Click ‘Apply’.

Renew your permit
Your permit is valid for the same amount of time as your Blue Badge. When your Blue Badge needs to be renewed, you must also renew your non-resident Blue Badge permit.
You’ll get an email 5 weeks before your permit runs out letting you know it needs to be renewed.
To renew your permit:
- Log in to your online parking account.
- Under ‘Your permits’ click ‘View your permits’.
- Click ‘Renew’ for the permit you want to renew.
- Confirm your details.
- Leave the renewal start date as it is. Your new permit will start when your current permit ends.
- Upload your proof documents.
After applying or renewing
Processing your application takes up to 10 working days. You'll get an email letting you know if your application's approved.
If your permit is not approved, we’ll let you know why and if we need more information. A rejected application means you cannot park using this permit.
