Overview
We are currently preparing a New Local Plan. The plan will be a consolidated plan and fully replace the 4 documents that currently make up the adopted Local Plan:
- Strategic Policies Development Plan Document (2017)
- Development Management Development Plan Document (2017)
- Site Allocations Development Plan Document (2017)
- Tottenham Area Action Plan (2017)
Once adopted, the New Local Plan will be the key component of our Development Plan, alongside and supported by:
- the London Plan (2021)
- Neighbourhood Plans
- the North London Waste Plan (2022) (which sets out the planning framework for waste management in North London)
- any National Development Management Policies published by the Government
The New Local Plan will build directly upon our ambitious new vision for Haringey which was adopted in October 2024.
