Tottenham Voices introduction
Tottenham Voices is a collaboration between Tottenham's communities, the council and partners to develop priorities for shaping Tottenham’s future.
It builds on the conversations we’ve had with the community over the last few years about their experiences of Tottenham, with an increased focus on speaking to groups we haven't heard from yet.
By asking the right questions, listening to and building on what we have heard through previous engagement exercises, we will collectively shape Tottenham’s future.
Tottenham Voices summary and engagement outcomes
Tottenham Voices came to a close in December 2023 after 6 weeks of in-depth community engagement, pop-ups, drop-in events, workshops, DJing sessions and a football tournament with hundreds of young people, schools, businesses, creators, council partners and local heroes.
It’s been inspiring listening and working collaboratively with communities across Tottenham on shaping aspirations for its future, aligning with our Haringey Deal approach and we are grateful to everyone who contributed their time, energy and ideas to the programme.
A summary of what we have heard through the engagement is now available and a full engagement report on findings is currently being produced and will be published soon.

Shaping Tottenham
In March 2024 we brought back a number of local and strategic partners, community leaders and representatives from the business community to test the emerging themes for Shaping Tottenham. This was an important step along the way to developing the strategy and brought some energising and thought-provoking discussion.
Using your feedback from Tottenham Voices, we are now developing the Shaping Tottenham strategy. This will take what we’ve heard and build a placemaking plan that underpins how we work with partners and residents in Tottenham moving forward.
What's next?
From winter 2024 onwards, we will have completed a new strategy for Tottenham; one that is ambitious, looks forward to the next 10 years and enables us to better harness the opportunities from London Borough of Culture 2027, Euro 2028 and beyond for Tottenham and its communities.
