Drainage Works
Park Avenue N22
We are carrying out drainage investigation works in Park Avenue opposite the common next to the zebra crossing. The works will be delivered from 9.30am to 3pm on Wednesday 10 September to Friday 12 September.
There will be temporary Traffic lights with a pedestrian crossing phase replacing the existing zebra crossing.
Bedford Road N22
We are carrying out drainage investigation works on Bedford Road entrance to the slip road. The works will be delivered from 9.30am to 3pm on Saturday 13 September to Tuesday 16 September.
The Bedford Road slip road will be closed. A traffic diversion will be in place during the works, with clear signage installed to guide road users safely around the closure.
We will also be carrying out drainage investigation works on Bedford Road opposite numbers 8 to 10. The works will be delivered from 9.30am to 3pm on Wednesday 17 September to Friday 19 September.
The affected bus routes is W3 and bus stops F and H will be closed. Further bus information can be found on the TfL website.
Turnpike Lane, N8 and Surrounding Areas
We are carrying out sewer surveys and drainage investigation works in Turnpike Lane, between the junctions of Wood Green High Road and Burghley Road.
The works will be delivered overnight from 10pm on Tuesday 16 September to 5am on Wednesday17 September 2025.
Turnpike Lane, from the Burghley Road junction to the Wood Green High Road junction will be closed.
A traffic diversion will be in place during the works, with clear signage installed to guide road users safely around the closure.
Sewer surveys and drainage investigation works will also be carried out in Willoughby Road, Hampden Road, and Lausanne Road from 9.30am to 3pm from Monday 16 September to Friday 19 September 2025.
Bus diversions will be in place during the overnight works from 10pm on Tuesday 16 September to 5am on Wednesday17 September 2025. The affected bus routes are 41, N41, 144 and N91.

Albert Road N22
We are carrying out drainage investigation works Albert Road outside number 250. The works will be delivered from 9.30am to 3pm on Tuesday 24 September to Thursday 26 September.
There will be temporary Traffic lights with a pedestrian crossing phase replacing the existing zebra crossing.
