Shepherds Hill N6 Road Closure
We are carrying out carriageway resurfacing works on Shepherds Hill N6, from Stanhope Road to Coolhurst Road.
The works will take place from Monday 26 January to Wednesday 28 January 2026, 9.30am to 3.30pm.
A full road closure will be in place for the duration of the works.
Access arrangements
Traffic will be diverted, with clear signage installed to safely guide road users around the road closure.
- On 26 January, the roundabout at Stanhope Road will be closed
- On 27 and 28 January, the roundabout at Stanhope Road will remain open, allowing access to Stanhope Road and surrounding roads via Shepherds Hill
Bus stop closures and bus diversions
Bus diversions will be in place for the duration of the works, affecting the W5.
The following bus stops will be closed:
Bus stops towards Archway:
- Weston Park
- Bourne Road
- Haringey Park
- The Broadway (Stop CC)
- Wolseley Road
- Shepherds Hill
- Shepherds Hill at the junction with Stanhope Road
- All stops on Stanhope Road
Bus stops towards Harringay Sainsbury’s:
- All stops on Stanhope Road
- All stops on Shepherds Hill
- All stops on Wolseley Road

Crouch End Thames Water Pipe Replacement
Thames Water are upgrading more than 8km of ageing Victorian pipes in Crouch End in order to reduce leakage and burst pipes.
The works will take place from Monday 9 February for up to 9 months in 4 locations (see information below), from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday and 8.00am to 2.00pm on Saturdays.
Locations
The Broadway, from 9 February 2026 for around a month. Two-way traffic lights will be in place.
Crouch Hill, from 9 February 2026 for around nine months. A road closure from the junction of The Broadway to Haringey Park will be in place.
Ridge Road, from 16 February 2026 for around five months. A road closure from the junction of Ferme Park Road to Nelson Road will be in place.
Oakington Way from 23 February 2026 for around two weeks. Oakington Way will be closed.
Traffic will be diverted, with clear signage installed to safely guide road users around the road closures.
