Our supported housing schemes, who is eligible, how to apply, other housing options.
The service is for older people aged 50+ with support needs. Younger applicants with severe disability may be considered. Homeowners and others with access to sufficient equity/capital to purchase more suitable accommodation may be excluded.
We provide unfurnished self-contained accommodation. Most of these are one-bedroom flats, but there are some bungalows and two-bedroom flats. They are all centrally heated with emergency alarms and most have secured entry-phone systems.
Support and assistance are provided by a hub coordinator and support workers. They will work with your individual needs and risks. We hope to empower people to live a more independent life. We support Homes for Haringey to deliver its support and wellbeing service based upon a hub and cluster model.
Eight of our schemes have been designated as support and well-being hubs, and offer an enhanced range of services. Other schemes will be managed as part of a “cluster” of schemes from the hubs. Residents at all schemes, whether living in a hub scheme or a cluster scheme will be able to access hub services, and all residents will continue to receive the same high quality support service tailored to their needs.

Most supported housing schemes have disabled access. The assessments office is a home-visit based service, so you are also unlikely to ever need to visit the office. It does not have full disabled access.
