Any of Us – fostering awareness-raising film
We have participated in a jointly funded film which launched on Tuesday 26 September, so it’s now available to view! It is the sixth film produced by a growing partnership of councils and children’s trusts to promote local authority fostering.
The ‘Any of Us’ project is the largest public sector fostering film collaboration yet, with over 80 participants joining forces. The film aims to encourage people from all different backgrounds to consider fostering.
All councils have their own area where we want to recruit foster carers from, so it makes great business sense to collaborate to produce a film that communicates a universal message: we all need more people to step forward and become foster carers.
Note for iPhone users and Youtube. There is a known bug with iOS and Youtube, Two buttons are read before the player but provide no functionality. We advise that you skip these to access the content.
We really hope those with any burning questions about fostering get in touch. It may be that this film gives them that gentle nudge needed to contact Haringey’s Fostering service, be that by email fosteringrecruitment@haringey.gov.uk or by phone: 020 8489 3754.
