Grace is an Admin and Communications Assistant working within the Supported Employment Team. As part of his placement, he planned and wrote a series of articles, interviewed other interns, and developed the structure for the newsletter and content plan.
Supported Intern Voices shares real experiences from interns in our Supported Internship Programme. As part of their placements, interns plan and write articles to build communication and digital skills, and we also include interviews about their placements and achievements.
The series aims to help readers understand the programme from the interns’ point of view.

About the Supported Internship Programme in Haringey
The Supported Internship Programme helps young people aged 16–25 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) gain real work experience and move towards employment. Interns take part in three workplace rotations, supported by job coaches, mentors, and continued learning in English, Maths, and employability skills.
The Intern Voices series provides insight into this programme from the perspective of the young people taking part.
