National Apprenticeship Week 2025
Employers, apprentices and training providers will come together from 10 to 16 February 2025 to showcase the benefits of apprenticeships and opportunities available.
This non-accredited course explores the power of data in bookkeeping for learners with Level 1 or 2 Maths skills. It covers bookkeeping terminologies, data organisation and presentation, financial statement components, and basic calculations. Through four sessions, learners will understand bookkeeping terms, enhance numeracy skills, organise and present financial data using various tools, and perform essential calculations. The course concludes with a maths assessment and information on further bookkeeping and maths courses, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of fundamental bookkeeping concepts.
You must be aged 19 + by the 31st August 2024. To be eligible for this course you must be a London resident and be eligible for ESFA funding. You need to have good spoken English and be able to use a computer to access the internet.

You will be taught through classroom sessions on site at Haringey Learns, Wood Green Library.
You will get feedback from the tutor in class and on any assignments that you complete. You will also complete an Individual learning plan where you will record and discuss your progress with the tutor.
You may progress to an accredited Maths or Bookkeeping or Digital or career development courses, depending on your aims and progress.
You will be continuously assessed by the tutor on assignments and tasks throughout the course.
You will have access to a MS Teams Digital classroom where you may access additional learning resources or communication from the Haringey Learns learning community. You will also be offered a wide range of different wellbeing or engagement activities within the service.
This non accredited course is for students who wish build confidence in their numeracy and data handling skills and to explore the next steps in terms of jobs or specialist qualifications.
