National Apprenticeship Week 2025
Employers, apprentices and training providers will come together from 10 to 16 February 2025 to showcase the benefits of apprenticeships and opportunities available.
This course is designed for neurodiverse adults who would like to build on and develop their
strengths in the working environment. The course aims to develop skills in executive
functioning, communication, organisation, collaboration, interview technique and ICT.
The course covers the legal framework and employers’ responsibilities to their
neurodiverse employees. The course provides useful resources and practical advice.
There are no formal entry requirements, but you would have to be able to independently take part in learning activities in English and this would be assessed in a pre-course discussion.
You should be a resident of a London Borough.
You would be invited to an informal face to face or telephone discussion with a tutor to ensure
that the course is suitable for you and will meet your needs.
You will be taught through interactive classroom sessions on site at Wood Green Library.
The session runs from 10am to 12.30pm.
There are a variety of employability workshops at Haringey Learns that you may progress on to
or you may discuss with your tutor developing further your skills in English, maths, IT or a specific career strand.
You will also be offered a wide range of different wellbeing or engagement activities within the service.
This course is designed for London residents aged 19+ who are neurodiverse
(Dyslexia, ADHD/ADD, Autism, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Tourette’s) and are interested in how their
strengths and skills can be developed for the workplace.
A formal diagnosis of a Neurodiverse profile is not necessary; an informal diagnosis or self-diagnosis is accepted
