Haringey Council's Cabinet Member for Finance and Local Investment, Cllr Sarah Williams, has today (Friday 14 April 2023) issued the following statement on the re-opening of Tottenham Green Pools & Fitness & Marcus Garvey Library and Customer Service Centre:
I am delighted to confirm that, after weeks of hard work by ourselves and our partners, Marcus Garvey Library and our Customer Service Centre will re-open on Monday morning (17 April). We look forward to welcoming residents back from 9am.
Fusion Ltd, our leisure services provider, will also be re-opening the gym, studio, soft play, sports hall and health suite on the same day.
Unfortunately, the pools will remain closed for the foreseeable future due to the highly complex repairs required to the high voltage system they rely on. I know that this will be incredibly frustrating for the pool users and we will continue to work tirelessly with Fusion and other partners to resolve this situation and get the pools open as soon as possible.
Both Marcus Garvey Library and Customer Service Centre will revert to their original opening hours. These are:
Library:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday: 9am-7pm
- Wednesday: 10am-7pm
- Saturday: 9am-5pm
- Sunday: 12noon-4pm
Customer Service Centre:
- Monday and Friday: 9am-5pm
- Tuesday and Thursday: 9am-4pm
- Wednesday: 10am-5pm
