Personal Health Budget
This budget is for children and young people birth -18 years that are eligible for continuing care support. The support is a tailored package of care due to their complex long-term and/or life limiting health condition. This budget supports a child or young person’s identified health and wellbeing needs through considering their physical, emotional and intellectual development as they move towards adulthood.
Children who are judged to have a continuing care need may require technology, for instance a device such as a respirator to aid breathing or they may have significant mental health difficulties.
A Personal Health Budget can be given to anyone who meets continuing care criteria by NHS Haringey Clinical Commissioning Group.
