SARAB “A mirage” is a 55-minute tragic theatre circus that was produced in 2017 to highlight the difficulties faced by refugees around the world. And the repetition of it today for millions of people.

Eugenia Alekseyev’s oil paintings of Highgate and other parts of London are often painted en plein air and worked up in her North London studio.

Impressionistic in style, they vividly convey atmosphere, offering a unique and fresh vision – inspired, as she says, by “smells, wind, rain, sounds – they all affect me”.

Alekseyev’s works are held in international collections.
