A timeline history of the Civic Centre.
Timeline introduction
If you have been by the Civic Centre recently, you will have noticed the hoardings around the site. The timeline and imagery on display take you through history, to learn about some of the events the building has seen.
To get us started, the Civic Centre was:
- designed in 1938
- built between 1955 to 1958
- Grade II listed in 2018
- vacated in early 2020 to allow for refurbishment
Take a look through some of Haringey’s richest and most poignant history, all taking place in one very special building.
