Training wind band 

Players are usually ready for the training band when they can read music and play some simple tunes. Ideally the player will have attended a Wind and Brass Fun Day. Fun Days are usually at the beginning of every other term. Contact us, or your school, for details.

Hornsey training wind band

Group details are:

• 10 weeks each term
• Tuesdays, 4.40pm to 6.10pm
• Rokesly Junior School, Rokesly Avenue, London, N8 8NH
• £42.75 per term (no charge for pupils receiving free school meals) 

Tottenham training wind band 

Group details are:

• 10 weeks each term
• Thursdays, 4pm to 5.15pm 
• Duke's Aldridge Academy, Trulock Road, London N17 0PG 
• £29.00 per term (no charge for pupils receiving free school meals) 

Intermediate wind band 

The intermediate group gives a grounding from which to move on to the more advanced groups.  

Players should have reached approximately Grade 2 standard before joining the intermediate wind band.

Concert wind band

A more advanced group exploring music for symphonic wind band, open to those around Grade 5 standard playing:

• wind
• brass
• percussion
