Holocaust Memorial Day event 2025: A Better Future

Every year in Haringey we hold a commemorative service to remember the 6 million Jews murdered during the Holocaust, alongside the millions of people murdered under Nazi persecution of other groups and during more recent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.

Join us to mark 80 years since the liberation of Auschwitz and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia. There will be a keynote speaker, speeches from local politicians and performances from young musicians.

Talk: Holocaust talk with Generation 2 Generation

Generation 2 Generation Holocaust Educator Louise Heilbron will be giving local school students a valuable talk.

The title is ‘Why couldn’t they… ‘ A workshop based on the anti-Jewish laws of the Nazis in the 1930’s and how they affected ordinary people of all ages who just happened to be Jewish.

This is a private event for invited school groups.
