It helps the doctors make sure that your body is working well, and that you are healthy |

It also helps the doctor to get you any treatment you may need as soon as possible |

You can ask at your GP surgery/health centre for a health check. If you ask reception or your doctor to put you on the Learning Disability register, you will be invited for a health check every year. |
