Family hubs: supporting all families in Haringey

Family hubs will be a universal front door to families, offering them a wide range of support services across different areas.

Family Hubs will offer: 

• family support services from pregnancy, through the child’s early years and later childhood, and into early adulthood until they reach the age of 19 (or up to 25 for young people with special educational needs and disabilities, or SEND)
• a rich Start for Life offer covering:
  • parenting support 
  • parent-infant relationships and perinatal mental health support 
  • early language and home learning environment
  • infant feeding support

Start for Life aims to improve the health of babies and children, from conception, throughout pregnancy and up to the age of 2.

Family hubs can support all families, with particular attention to those families experiencing social or economic disadvantage, or those from minority groups who are more likely to be faced with inequalities and/or exclusion.
