Bank holiday parking

On bank holidays and public holidays, free parking is available in all:

• on-street pay by phone parking bays
• open council car parks

Parking permits

Residents can apply for and renew resident and visitors parking permits online during the holiday period.

Applications will not be processed on bank holidays and public holidays.

Bury Road car park

Bury Road car park will operate the following opening hours over the holiday period:

• Monday 22 December 2025 – 8am to 8.15pm
• Tuesday 23 December 2025 – 8am to 8.15pm
• Wednesday 24 December 2025 – 8am to 4pm
• Thursday 25 December 2025 – closed
• Friday 26 December 2025 – 8am to 6pm
• Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 December 2025 – 8am to 8.15pm
• Monday 29 December 2025 – 8am to 8.15pm
• Tuesday 30 December 2025 – 8am to 8.15pm
• Wednesday 31 December 2025 – 8am to 4pm
• Thursday 1 January 2026 – 8am to 6pm
• Friday 2 January 2026 – 8am to 8.15pm
