Association for Environment Conscious Building (AECB)
AECB is an independent, non-profit organisation which promotes sustainable building practice. They have a directory of members but AECB is not an accrediting body.

Parity Projects offers a free online retrofit advice including quotes from vetted installers.
Muswell Hill Sustainability Group Local Trusted Traders
Muswell Hill Sustainability Group (MHSG) has a list of local trusted traders. MHSG does not endorse any of the traders but includes them if recommended by members of the group.
Contractor accreditations
TrustMark is a Government-Endorsed Quality Scheme. TrustMark Registered Businesses need to satisfy the standards of PAS 2035:2019. PAS 2035 is a government produced document to provide best practice to retrofit homes. It is a requirement for all government funded retrofit projects.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is a standards organisation which certifies installers of renewables including solar panels and low carbon heating including heat pumps.
