The enabling work to help with the construction of the new homes and future development on the estate is now complete.
The new haul road will only be used by construction traffic to make sure construction vehicles do not drive down Adams Road or pass by the Willow and Brook schools or Broadwaters' Children's Centre. The road will run between Adams Road and Willian Road.
The road is enclosed with fences and secure gates that will be controlled by a banks person once construction works begin to ensure only construction vehicles can gain access. The additional gates intersecting the haul road and Griffin Road are for emergency vehicles and bin trucks to use.
The temporary car park opposite the haul road and Manston block is to provide the schools with car parking while we develop the former Moselle site with new council homes.
