Northolt strip out

Part of: Construction and improvement works

The demolition of Northolt will make way for the second phase of the Broadwater Farm New Homes programme.

Before the demolition work can start, we need to strip and clear all flats and services. This work began in October 2024 and should be complete by autumn 2025.

The contractor undertaking the work is DCK Construction Limited, who is currently also undertaking the communal redecoration and fire safety works on all remaining blocks on the estate other than Rochford and Martlesham.

Impact on Broadwater Farm residents

The Northolt strip out works will not impact residents on the estate as we are undertaking all the removal and clearance work internally within Northolt. However, the pedestrian footpath running next to Northolt will be closed. We’ll display alternative access signs for residents and visitors.

There will be vehicles coming onto the estate to support the clearance of Northolt. We will manage access to the estate to make sure there is limited inconvenience for residents.

DCK already have representation on-site. If you have questions or concerns, you can speak with the Resident Liaison Officer at the site office located on Freedom Road opposite Croydon block.
