Safe and sound

Part of: Northumberland Park

We are working closely with the Metropolitan Police, Enfield Council, residents, and community partners on an ongoing programme tackling crime and anti-social behaviour in Northumberland Park. This is part of the ‘Clear, Hold, Build’ initiative in Haringey’s Northumberland Park and Bruce Castle wards, as well as Edmonton in Enfield.

Days of Action

As part of the programme, we are holding Days of Action in locations on the estate, with various council services and local police teams to speak to residents about their concerns as well as provide and record information.

Visit our events page to learn more about upcoming days of action in Northumberland Park.

Neighbourhood Patrol service

We have introduced uniformed neighbourhood patrols of the communal areas and public spaces across:

  • Northumberland Park Estate/Rothbury Walk
  • Stellar House, Altair Close, Lindales, Brookdale (SALB)
  • Victoria Crescent, Kerswell Close, Helston Court
  • and Rosa Luxemburg Court (just outside of Northumberland Park)

The patrol team will work ‘out of hours’ (evenings and nights), ten hours a day, seven days a week.

Their role is to deter antisocial behaviour and support residents with any concerns. Visit the Northumberland Park Neighbourhood Patrols page to learn more
