The Brook Special Primary School Class of 2022

The Brook school were thrilled that Deputy Mayor Councillor Lester Buxton, Councillor Zena Brabazon and a member of the LA SEND team, Regan Lacey joined our Year 6 leavers and their families for their celebratory assembly.  Each leaver enjoyed a video capturing some of their amazing achievements; were presented with their graduation certificate and also AQA accredited certificates. 

It has been amazing to see how much they have all progressed over the years and to know that they are ready to begin the next stage of their journey. Congratulations to them all. 

We are so proud at the Brook that all of our children received an AQA certificate for their work in Humanities this year and some received unit certification for expressive arts. 

As with all awards, pupils have to meet certain criteria, and this is both internally assessed and externally assessed.  70 of our children received one unit certification; 25 children received two; 3 children received three and 2 received four certificates. This is an amazing achievement – well done to all the pupils and the staff who work so hard to help our children make such significant progress.
