What is Hi! CULTURE?
Hi CULTURE! is part of the Tottenham High Street Heritage Action Zone (external link) programme which explores the rich and living cultural heritage of Tottenham High Road.
Bernie Grant Arts Centre (external link) has joined forces with Tottenham’s Bruce Castle Museum (external link), North London Community House (external link) and other local partners in Bruce Grove to deliver a variety of cultural activities for local people throughout 2023-24.
The programme is supported by Haringey Council and Historic England to promote the High Road as a vibrant cultural destination.
Thanks for getting involved in HI! CULTURE events
It was great seeing the community get involved in the month long festival from 17 January to 11 February 2024 with Bernie Grant Arts Centre, Bruce Castle Museum, North London Community House and other local partners who delivered a variety of cultural activities for local people highlighting Tottenham’s rich history, culture and communities.
The Tottenham High Road Takeover saw an array of activities taking place for residents and young people to enjoy, including:
- walks from Jewish heritage to LGBTQIA+ history tours
- exhibitions including photography
- immersive pop-up performances along Tottenham High Road
- installations showcasing music, visual art, film and literature outside Bernie Grants Art Centre
- festival takeover at Tottenham Green
